100% Natural Moroccan Selenite "Selenite" is the crystallized form of the soft mineral Gypsum. In antiquity, it was believed selenite waxed and waned with the cycles of the Moon inspiring it's name which stems from the Latin word selenites, meaning "moon stone". Please note: Selenite is a brittle mineral and will naturally degrade over time and with exposure to heat or moisture. Selenite can also naturally contain inclusions of other minerals which can lead to red, brown, or even blue coloring in places, as well as natural internal cleaving. These inclusions and cleaving do not affect selenite structurally in any way and are purely cosmetic. These Selenite hearts fit perfectly in your pocket, wallet, or handbag making them easy to travel with you! Measures at approximately 30-40 mm.
